Nick Hawkins has followed Chris Shaw out of Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Eastwood Town.
Hawkins, 28, resigned as caretaker manager on Tuesday night following Eastwood's 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Loughborough Dynamo in First Division South.
The former Nottingham Forest player, pictured, arrived at Coronation Park towards the end of last season to work alongside Shaw as joint manager after leaving the hot-seat at Nostell Miners Welfare.
Defender Shaw, 29, had been at the club for eight years as a player before taking over from John Ramshaw last October. He tendered his resignation last week, leaving Hawkins in temporary charge while the club considered their options.
On Saturday, the Badgers lost 4-0 at Carlton Town when Hawkins took charge for the first time. They travel to Kidsgrove Athletic on Saturday in the league.
