Rowntree hits 400 appearances for Reds

Workington captain Gari Rowntree has been presented with a framed shirt to commemorate his 400th appearance for the club.

Rowntree, 32, came through the ranks at Blackburn and first played for the Reds in 2007.

He has been there virtually ever since, save for a brief spell with Celtic Nation.

The milestone was reached in the much needed win over Bamber Bridge in the EVO-STIK League Premier Division at the weekend as the Reds continue to battle relegation worries.
