All the damage was done in the first half as Market Drayton Town claimed a 4-0 victory over Wisbech. Andre James completed a first-half hat-trick, as well as an own goal from Beckham Kennelly on 34 minutes which saw the side promoted from the bottom spot in the table.
Two points now separate the sides on the table.
At the other end of the table, Leek Town maintain top spot following their 2-0 defeat over Lincoln United. Robert Stevenson opened the scoring on just three minutes, while Tim Grice scored his 27th goal of the season in front of a crowd of 210.
In the play-offs, Stamford claimed an impressive 5-1 victory over Spalding United. Thomas Siddons and Tendai Chitiza both bagging a brace, while Harry Vince also netted on the day.
Cleethorpes Town were held to a 1-1 draw away to Stocksbridge Park Steels, with goals from Joshua Nodder and Paul Walker respectively.
Elsewhere in the play-offs, Belper Town defeated Newcastle Town 2-0, while Carlton Town claimed a 4-0 victory over Glossop North End.
In eighth place, Frickley Athletic drew 0-0 with Kidsgrove Athletic, and Worksop Town defeated Chasetown 2-0.
Lincoln United, who remain nine points clear from bottom spot, fell to a 3-1 defeat to Loughborough Dynamo, who now sit 11th.
